The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges and changes to non-profit organizations. These are uncertain times and we are all learning as we go along.

Fortunately, what keeps DIGS strong is our longstanding partnerships with funders, local businesses, and organizations. But the pandemic has forced a massive shift in funding priorities. For DIGS this means that foundation support and district funding has declined and that we need to be creative in our fundraising efforts. It also means that we need your support now more than ever.

It is time to be creative and resourceful and dig deeper. We are working to diversify our funding sources and leverage some new and unique fundraising ideas and events to keep the organization strong. We will continue to build relationships with all supporters including the school district, foundations, PTAs, service clubs, businesses, community leaders, and individual donors to maximize resources for school gardens.​ We are confident that our team will help us come up with new strategies and we welcome your participation.
